City parks commission to discuss playground at Firefighter’s Park

KINGMAN – The City Parks, Aquatics, Recreation and Golf Commission will review plans for a playground at Firefighter’s Memorial Park at its meeting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Powerhouse Visitor Center, 120 W. Andy Devine Ave.

Aside from hearing park, recreation and golf course superintendent reports, commissioners will discuss and select a review panel for a playground at Firefighter’s Memorial Park, 2201 Detroit Ave., costing about $163,000 from the Parks Capital account.

The commission will also talk about the parks, open space, trails and recreation plan in addition to Kingman Youth Soccer multi-purpose field lighting at Centennial Park.

Lastly, commissioners will discuss a review of the golf course pro shop and grill.
