April Lee Senediak, age 73 of San Diego, California and Kingman, Arizona, passed away Friday, Feb. 15, 2019.
She was born to the late Joseph Harrison Evans and Ruth Elizabeth Hutton on April 14, 1945. April attended the University of Redlands, California. She served 22 years as a sales promotion coordinator for Merrill Lynch and 15 years for the U.S. Census Bureau. Throughout her life April devoted herself to family, community and the church. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, her family was a source of constant pride.
April never met a stranger. The kindness of her spirit was visible every day and she carried herself with a peaceful elegance in all of her endeavors. April resided with her husband, John Senediak in Kingman, Arizona for the last 19 years. Her country desert home was a sanctuary to family, friends and animals alike.
Since retirement, April has remained active in the local community with the Marine Corps League, TOPS, Kingman Presbyterian Church, Red Hats and charity work. Survived by her husband; John Senediak, children; Aaron and Leigh-Anne Lee, Ruth and Greg Weiss, Bill and Vanessa Senediak, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
April’s vibrant spirit will be dearly missed by all. Memorial service is to be held at 1 p.m. Feb. 23, 2019 at Kingman Presbyterian Church, 2425 Detroit Ave., Kingman, AZ 86401. April will be laid to rest at the Miramar National Cemetery in San Diego at a later date. In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family has requested donations to the Kingman Presbyterian Church.
