Mohave County Sheriff’s Office and Kingman Police Department reported the following arrests for the week of Feb. 22:
Kingman Police Department canceled all crime Thursday due to the extreme weather and too much snow on the ground.
Michelle Lynn Bristol, 31-year-old Kingman resident, was arrested by Mohave County Sheriff’s Office deputies at about 1:50 a.m. Tuesday after a records check on her vehicle revealed it had been reported stolen out of Las Vegas.
Deputies observed a silver sedan around Irving and Adams streets, and a records check showed that it had been reported stolen. Deputies conducted a high-risk stop and ordered the driver, identified as Bristol, to exit the sedan.
Bristol, after being detained, told deputies she had purchased the vehicle and that its title was inside the car. Deputies were unable to locate the title.
Michelle Lynn Bristol was arrested for felony theft of means of transportation. She was booked into Mohave County jail without incident.
Mohave County Sheriff’s Office detectives are investigating a weapons offense that occurred at approximately 11 p.m. Tuesday.
Deputies responded to a residence in the 4400 block of Calle Viveza in reference to a 911 call of a male subject with a gunshot wound to his foot.
Deputies arrived on scene and located the victim, and was advised the suspect, identified as Cory Christopher Gaul, 31 of Fort Mohave, left the scene on foot.
The victim advised he and Gaul began arguing about the weapon, which belonged to the victim, and alleges Gaul then used the weapon to shoot him in the foot and then left with it.
Medical arrived on scene to treat the victim, who was transferred to a nearby hospital.
MCSO reported Gaul was in custody the afternoon of Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2019.
Drug possession, disorderly conduct
Mohave County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Elijah Matthew Fullmer, 44 of Kingman, for dangerous drug possession, drug paraphernalia possession, both felonies, and misdemeanor disorderly conduct per domestic violence.
At approximately 4:30 p.m. Feb. 17, deputies responded to a residence in the 4700 block of Van Nuys Road in reference to a domestic violence situation. Upon arrival, deputies heard a female screaming from inside a camper trailer on the property.
Deputies opened the door and observed a female in the fetal position screaming for help with a male subject, identified as Fullmer, standing next to her. Deputies immediately ordered Fullmer to show his hands but was hesitant and had to be told several times.
While speaking with deputies, Fullmer placed his hand into his pants pocket and then moved his hand to his jacket sleeve. When deputies asked what was in his hands Fullmer threw a baggie to the ground.
The baggie contained 0.6 grams of methamphetamine and a syringe was located in Fullmer’s pocket.
The victim had no notable injuries or marks on her body. Elijah Matthew Fullmer was arrested and booked into Mohave County Adult Detention Facility without incident.
Mohave County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested 62-year-old Benjamin Lee Peters of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, on Friday in connection to an alleged fraudulent use of a credit card.
On Friday, the sheriff’s office received a call from a victim who claimed his credit card had been used at a local hotel. He said that he noticed his wallet was missing Friday morning before observing charges made at the hotel and a gas station. He went to those locations and obtained surveillance photos that he then provided to law enforcement.
Deputies received another call a short time later in reference to a male subject having attempted to use the victim’s debit card to buy alcohol at a bar. The card was declined.
Sheriff’s office deputies responded to the location, and found a male subject, later identified as Peters, asleep in his vehicle. Peters was detained at that time.
Contact was made with the business, which gave law enforcement the debit card and identification of the victim Peters had used to try and make the purchase.
Benjamin Lee Peters was arrested for identity theft, theft of a credit card and fraudulent use of a credit card, all felonies. He was booked into Mohave County Adult Detention Facility.
Mohave County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested David Lyle Hubbell, 46 of Golden Valley, on Friday for numerous charges, including a sex offender registration violation.
At about 9 a.m. Friday, deputies responded to a residence in the 3400 block of McNeal Road to assist with an eviction. When deputies arrived, they observed constables on the scene and a female subject inside the fence yelling at them. A male subject, identified as Hubbell, then arrived and also began yelling at deputies and constables about trespassing on his property.
A records check revealed that Hubbell was in violation of his sex offender registration, and he was detained. Upon searching his person, deputies found 1.5 grams of methamphetamine in his pocket.
David Lyle Hubbell was arrested for dangerous drug possession, drug paraphernalia possession and sex offender registration violation, all felonies. He was booked into Mohave County jail.
