KINGMAN – Eastbound Andy Devine Avenue from Stockton Hill Road to Michael Street will be undergoing milling and pavement operations beginning this week and lasting through June 6, and while businesses will remain open, traffic control is in place.

This week, the two northbound lanes will be closed so crews can mill the existing surface and pave the two lanes. Northbound traffic will be diverted to the center lane.

The traffic control setup for the southbound lanes is expected to begin the week of May 20 following completion of the northbound work. Traffic will moved to the center lane, but once the southbound work is finished, those lanes will reopen and the center lane will be closed for several days. Striping will occur May 28 and 29.

The City took control of that area of Route 66 from the Arizona Department of Transportation in 2004.
