If you like to hunt doves then the Arizona Game and Fish Department has some good news for you.

Hunters will get a second chance at wing-shooting these speedsters with the start of the state's “second” dove season. The late season lasts 45 days and runs through Jan. 5, 2020.

There is a 15-bird daily limit, all of which must be mourning doves. The possession limit remains 45 mourning doves after opening day, of which no more than 15 may be taken in any one day.

There is an unlimited daily bag and possession limit for the feral Eurasian collared-doves, which can hunted all year.

Dove hunters can have a maximum of three shells in their shotguns and must have a bird stamp on their license.
