Community View | GOP picnic wasn’t worth the risk

This is about the GOP picnic where about 200 mostly elderly supporters gathered with no masks or distancing.

State Party Chairman Kelli Ward thanked “patriots” for not yielding to COVID-19 fear, and spoke about liberty over lock down, fighting socialism and communism, and, along with U.S. Rep. Paul Gosar and U.S. Sen. Martha McSally, about an anarchist mob takeover of the Democratic party.

They said we must keep Arizona Republican with Trump’s “spectacular leadership.”

Sadly, the reality today is close to 150,000 dead Americans, millions unemployed, thousands overwhelming our nation’s hospital systems, Moscow Mitch refusing to pass another needed relief bill, and “ZERO” federal response to this out-of-control pandemic.

Yes, thank you Ms. Ward for helping spread this virus in Mohave County, risking untold more lives, while showing more concern about staying in power.

Please understand your GOP vote is for the Trump Fascist party. Seniors, are you really ready for Social Security and Medicare cuts to support Trump’s secret storm troopers that are as we speak kidnapping people off the streets of America, as well as continued death and suffering from a party that expects you to die for their cause. This election sadly is a true fight for our nation’s freedom and democracy.
