KINGMAN – The City of Kingman will begin long-line striping roads on Tuesday, May 26, and has asked motorists to use caution when driving near and around work crews.

The city wrote in a news release that the work will typically be completed between 5 a.m. and 3 p.m., and is expected to last through the coming week. However, as the schedule will be dictated by wind and traffic, an exact map and location of where crews will be on particular days and times is unavailable.

Crews will begin with yellow striping before moving to white striping at a later date.

Crews will occupy one lane, and in most areas drivers will be permitted to drive around work vehicles.

“The city recommends drivers not drive through newly applied paint but depending on temperatures, paint can dry within about 30 seconds,” the city advised.
