Harbor Freight Tools to open in old K-mart building in Kingman
KINGMAN – Harbor Freight Tools will open a new store at 3340 E. Andy Devine Ave., bringing between 25 and 30 new jobs to Kingman with an expected opening date of summer 2021.
The store will occupy 20,000-square feet of tenant space at 3340 E. Andy Devine Ave. between the proposed C-A-L Ranch Store and the Ashley Homestore Outlet in the former K-Mart building.
The City of Kingman Economic Development Department posted a news release from Harbor Freight Tools on its Facebook page. The release noted that the new jobs coming to the community will include sales and logistic supervisors, senior and sales associates, as well as seasonal opportunities.
“We’ve been looking to open a location in Kingman for a number of years so that we can provide the tools and equipment at tremendous values to the community,” said Trey Feiler, senior vice president of real estate and development at Harbor Freight. “In addition to finding a great location, we were attracted by the availability of great associates in the Kingman area, and we look forward to having them join the Harbor Freight team.”
Harbor Freight Tools, a family-owned company, was started in Southern California in 1977. It opened its first store in 1980, and today has 1,100 stores across the country.
