Obituary | Alfred (Fred) Owen Bedard
Alfred (Fred) Owen Bedard, 77, of Kingman, Arizona died Feb. 22, 2021 at The Gardens Rehab & Care Center in Kingman.
Mr. Bedard was born Sept. 5, 1943 in Danville, Illinois, a son of the late Owen Everett and Caroline Louise, nee Zilko, Bedard.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sibling, James Richard Bedard.
He leaves behind a family who loved him dearly. Surviving are his children, Richard Bedard of Denver, Ann Daniels of Geneva, Karen (Paul) Auten of Yorkville, and Timothy (Jennifer) Bedard of Granite City; grandchildren, Brent (Yossett) Daniels, Shaina Daniels, Talan Daniels, and Jelaina Auten; and great-grandchildren, Sunnie Daniels and Jericho Daniels.
Fred served his country in the United States Navy from 1961–1965. He was a member of the Catholic Church. He loved reading and going to the library. He enjoyed watching cooking shows and creating his own recipes.
He had a passion for spending time outdoors hiking in the mountains, or running. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
A private service for the family will be held and burial will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Danville, Illinois.
He will continue to live on in our hearts and be remembered forever.
