Dolan Springs Trail System helps Mt. Tipton school with trail, gardens

DOLAN SPRINGS – The Dolan Springs Trail System presented a check for $762 to Mt. Tipton Elementary School in Dolan Springs to be used for the school nature trail and gardens that the students plant, harvest and eat in the cafeteria.

The trail system also announced in a news release that it will be receiving a grant from the Arizona State Parks department to enhance existing trails, and reported it has acquired about 500 more acres for future use.

The trail system is known for hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, picnics and scenic views.
