Let us know what’s on your mind in 40 words or less. Submit Rants and Raves at kdminer.com/rants-and-raves or email editorial@kdminer.com. If your rant/rave is about a specific story please mention the headline. Rants and raves must be original; not plagiarized. We receive many more rants and raves than we can print. Local rants and raves are preferred.

AZ teacher shortages continue – It’s hard to keep teachers in a state, and a county, where they are underpaid, overworked, disrespected, physically and verbally threatened, and are expected to risk their lives to COVID-19 for the misinformed mobs that desire to spread disease.

COVID kills 7 more Kingman-area residents, 2 in their 40s – There were 276 cases and seven deaths in five days. This carnage can be stopped! Get vaccinated and wear a mask and be a hero. A reminder: The value of a human life should not depend on age.

Rep. Biasiucci pushes election integrity, bashes local media during Kingman visit – To criticize local media for not having election integrity is dishonest. The politician I will never vote for again has lacked integrity and sold us out. This paper was the only shred of decency in this county during election period.

Dumping rant – Of course Kingman has become a dumping ground. You don’t need to dump in the washes; just dump it anywhere. Pile it up as much as you want as nobody is going to do anything about it.

Carl Golden column: For GOP, it’s the Donald Trump Show – The real sour grapes are Carl Golden and his Trump hating. Column is filled with lies and ignores facts and Trump’s incredible accomplishments – made us energy independent, largest tax cuts since Reagan, slashed red tape/regulations, dumped Paris climate accords, created 3 million new jobs. Fantastic!

Health director: COVID-19 impacting younger populations in Mohave County – Why stop COVID reports? For county supervisors to make intelligent decisions they should be updated on COVID information. Any commissioner who can’t accept the reality that we are still in a pandemic is unfit to serve. The taxpayers deserve informed politicians.

Don Martin column: Lady Luck smiles – So cruel to read. They call bull elk? And then they feel accomplished by killing a resting elk? Your entertainment in killing is not something we want to read!

Please slow down, royal blue 4-door truck racing through intersection at Willow and Legacy around 6 p.m. on Oct. 14. There are children in the neighborhood. Don’t know if you were drunk or just reckless?
