KINGMAN – Brandon Scroggins is the first full-time pastor at the Living Word Lutheran Church at 2570 Northern Ave., Kingman.

Scroggins was installed at worship services on July 11, and extended blessings to Pastor Emeritus Michael Birnbaum as he began retirement. A special reception and thanksgiving dinner followed worship.

Scroggins grew up in Kingman and returns to his hometown with his wife Yivette and their daughters, Adalyn, 11, and Elodie, 7. The family spent the previous two years in Florence, Alabama, where Scroggins served as pastor of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

Scroggins said he’s happy to bring his family home. “We are very excited to be back home near family and friends. I truly believe God has some great plans for Kingman, and for Living Word.”

Living Word Lutheran Church worships at 10 a.m. on Sundays.
