Regarding 9/11 – A distinctive memory I have of 9/11 is the way Americans came together in grief and unity despite political or ideological differences after the attack. In facing COVID-19, we have tragically failed to do the same. Therefore, the pandemic continues.
Mohave County Supervisors pass resolution against vaccine mandates – I suggest our county supervisors spend some volunteer time in our hospital ICUs filled with patients struggling to live! They could also assist hospital staff in breaking the death news to the families of COVID victims. Shameless political posturing!
Rain puts damper on some local dove hunts – Please stop publishing stories about people who like to kill little animals. They should stick to choking down dead cows, pigs and chickens.
Sweeping new vaccine mandates for 100 million Americans – What about survivors of COVID possessing natural immunity? Or serious reactions like heart inflammation or a month-long paralysis? Can the government manage my health better than my doctor? Of course not! No wonder mandates are resisted.
Pima County OKs insurance penalty for unvaccinated workers – Discriminatory. If Pima County charges higher insurance rates for those who choose against the vaccine, they should charge higher rates for those who choose to be smokers, druggies, drinkers, get speeding tickets or are 20 pounds overweight.
7 more dead in Kingman from COVID, 114 infected – Get vaccinated and wear a mask. It’s time to act like an American patriot, not a whiner and crier. Our people are dying!
Kingman Regional Medical Center notes rise in COVID-19 cases; 10 in ICU – It doesn’t help when you see KRMC workers in stores without masks. I wonder about the mentality of the masses in Kingman. I see the majority of the people without masks. Do they think COVID won’t affect them?
I support the new vaccine mandates President Biden has put in place. It is disappointing that many would not voluntarily pull together for the health and safety of their fellow Americans; not even for the children.
