ADOT, Kingman making improvements to Stockton Hill Road
KINGMAN – The Arizona Department of Transportation, in partnership with the City of Kingman, is making safety improvements to a section of Stockton Hill Road between Detroit and Airway avenues beginning Monday, Sept. 20.
According to an ADOT news release, the project will enhance driver and pedestrian safety by installing advanced street-name signs, speed feedback signs and left-turn arrows on traffic signals. The project will also upgrade the reflective borders on traffic signals and existing pavement markings.
To reduce traffic impacts, most of the work will take place at night from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday. Drivers should be prepared for delays in the work zone. At least one travel lane in each direction will remain open at all times.
The project is scheduled to be completed in late fall.
