Obituary | Saffron Pamela Nelson
“May you touch dragonflies and stars, dance with the fairies and talk to the moon.”
On Friday, Aug. 5, 2022, Saffron Pamela Nelson was granted her fervent wish to receive her very own ethereal pair of wings, much to our great sadness. Saffron was born on April 2, 2018 in Lake Havasu City to her parents Jonathan and Sharn Nelson. From the moment she opened her beautiful hazel eyes she spread love, happiness, and laughter everywhere she went. Our beloved “Sassy” loved life. She enjoyed her books and was becoming a reader at the tender age of two. Saffie absorbed every tidbit this world bestowed upon her, and astounded her teachers at preschool with her wealth of knowledge. She was a firecracker of a girl who loved to sing to Encanto and Patsy Cline. Saffie loved life, and was loved so much by her parents and family. She has left an eternal impact on each person in her life.
Saffron is survived by her grandparents, Kevin and Elena Molloy of Bullhead City, Arizona and Mark and Pamela Nelson of Kingman, Arizona. Aunts and uncles Tarryn Molloy and Michael Green of Bullhead City, Rhett Molloy and JinJu Lee of Riverside, California; Jedidiah and Melissa Noble of Kingman, and Colby and Amanda Van Wagenen of Kingman; and cousins Jackson, Ainsley and Calvin Noble, and Wyatt, Jamison and Violet Van Wagenen.
Words will never express the void that has filled all our lives now that Saffie has left to fly amongst the sparkling rainbows and twinkling stars. Our beautiful girl has taught us life is so precious and to live every moment as time is fleeting.
