Obituary | Carol Lea Moore
Carol Lea Moore, 86, died peacefully on July 17, 2022, in Kingman, Arizona.
She was born in Bath County, Kentucky, the only child of Herbert and Lydia Snedegar. Carol Lea married her love Gerald Moore and upon his discharge from the United States Air Force, they moved back to Kentucky to farm tobacco. They lived in Lexington, Kentucky, until a big move to Arizona in 1969, when they made their lifelong home in Kingman.
A Christian her entire life, she was one of the charter members of Kingman Christian Church. She was a consummate homemaker and a superb southern cook. Although suffering from migraine headaches since age 5, she worked many years at Plaza Jewelers and sold real estate.
Carol Lea is survived by her daughter, Leah (Tom); daughter-in-law Julie; grandchildren Jason, Amy, Kyle and Katie; and six great-grandchildren. Carol was preceded in death by husband, Gerald, and son, Gerry.
There will an interment service to be determined later at the Veterans Cemetery in Carefree, Arizona.
