Letter | Allergies can’t be helped
Jase Graves in his “No, it’s not COVID” column is absolutely right about the whole allergy/sinus infection business.
Having seasonal allergies is an inconvenience, a big one for sure.
You can take allergy meds and still be sniffling, sneezing, wheezing, coughing and feeling miserable.
So, people, stop looking at us allergy sufferers like we’re COVID carriers. Not every sneeze or cough is a harbinger of impending doom.
John Q. and Jane Q. Public, stop backing away from, reversing direction and avoiding us allergy sufferers. It is isolating and rude.
Remember, having allergies was not our choice. It just happens and we need love, too.
