Investigation ongoing for suicide in Kingman Police Department parking lot

KINGMAN — Kingman police are investigating the suicide of 64-year-old male that occurred in the parking lot of the Kingman Police Department at 2730 E. Andy Devine Ave.

According to a KPD news release, on Wednesday, Sept. 28 at about 4 p.m. the subject drove himself to the police department concerning his alleged involvement in a criminal investigation. Officers on scene saw the subject brandish a firearm and they began giving him commands.

Officers heard a single gunshot and continued giving commands. They approached the vehicle and found the subject deceased.
