Jerome (Pat) Russell

Long-time Kingman resident Jerome (Pat) Russell passed away at the age of 83 on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023. Jerome was born on Dec. 3, 1939 and lived in Kingman his entire life.

Jerome retired after 44 years from Citizens Utilities/Unisource Power Company where he first started at the age of 18. Jerome was best known for his 1923 T-Bucket (The Phantom) that he worked on his entire life; he enjoyed taking it to car shows throughout Arizona. He also enjoyed hunting, going shooting with his family, family barbecues and spending time with his family and dogs. If you were lucky enough to have known him then you knew he could make the entire room laugh with just a simple joke.

Jerome is survived by his wife, Doris E. Russell, and four children, Thomas Russell of Buckeye, Arizona; Stephanie Maxwell-Cegelka of Troy, Illinois; Robert Russell of Phoenix, Arizona; and Debbie Robinson of Kingman, Arizona. He also had 11 grandchildren – Kimberly Russell, Joshua Maxwell, Brittany Russell, Ryan Russell, Bradlee Russell, Andrea Russell, Makaila Cegelka, Jakob Cegelka, Iris Russell, Andrew Russell and Jordan Russell – along with several great-grandchildren. He had many cousins in Kansas and his cousin Barbara Conrath of Kingman, Arizona.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, Jan. 30 at 12:30 p.m. at Mountain View Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life will follow at the family’s home directly after the service.
